What a week....

I think this picture sums up what the last week has been like.....

There has been a lot of traveling for Thanksgiving then to visit our friends baby Jackson and Colin. Sammie has been a great little trooper never pulling out the princess naughty pants until it was just mommy and daddy! She traveled all the way to visit Grandma and Grandpa, Nana and Papa, then of course all her Aunts and Uncles. She had so much fun playing with her cousin Riley. Only witnessing one scraper fight between Brock and Riley. Which now is funny but at the time was very serious business. Oh and she almost got to witness me taking on aunt Heidi because Heidi thought I was tattling on her....(I'm sticking my tough out at you too aunt Heidi). We manage to make it home all in one piece and three very tired people.

Now the next day I was a crazy person who met her three very brave friends at 3:50 in the Kohl's parking lot. Of course I was suppose to be there at 3:30 but I failed to factor in FROST! HOWEVER what a successful venture we had so much fun. Yes even at 4:30 AM grown women turn into little giggling girls laughing at each other at just about everything. Although we parted pretty early we still manage to have lots and lots of fun. Oh and great deals don't let me forget that important detail.

This week we also had to say good bye to such a good friends. Sammie's friends Colin and baby Jackson are moving all the way to Texas. Here a lots of pictures of the three ding dongs together. Now we can't wait to see them again. We are sending them all our hugs and kisses wishing them safe travels and many happy times!

WOW 4 years!!

Can you believe we have been married for 4 whole years?? I really does seem like yesterday we met at the beer tent...ahhh love! Can you believe 4 years later we would be proud parents of princess naughty pants herself. (can you believe I found a picture of the three of us??).

Well Micky has been back home for almost 30 whole days and I think we might be back into the swing of our totally not normal life. Sammie is loving all the daddy time she missed all summer. She has been a little under the weather while her back molars are breaking through. Micky is worried/obsessed about what Halloween costume he is going to wear...I think he settled on Army guy because I wouldn't let him order the $26.00 fake gun that is like the Ranger's use! (really there is a difference and I had to hear all about it). We had a very quick visit to Muskegon over the weekend to help celebrate Papa's birthday. Before we left we had to go visit our friend Colin. Of Course I have pictures.

Sammie can't wait to go again she talks about her friend Colin and Baby "ackson". Mommy can't wait to see Jackson again either he has the best kissing cheeks ever! I don't know why I didn't get a picture of them...next time.

The big picture....

Well we have lived through part of the big State of Michigan budget crisis. We both for the time still have jobs. We also get to pay more taxes but hey isn't that the American way? We'll see what the next few month's bring for both our jobs maybe we will have to move to Oregon after all!

Sammie started back at daycare. It is a little bitter sweet. I mean that at daycare she has so much fun with all the kids and K is over the moon to have her back. Then there is M who not only took care of Sammie but me too! Sammie has been so blessed to be loved by such wonderful caregivers. She doesn't know it yet but both have played such a big part in making her such a fantastic little lady. So here are some of her newest pictures. These are from Monday and her silly way of making mommy laugh.

Ready or not??

Daddy is coming home!! Do you think we are ready for it? Not so sure he'll enjoy the "chaos" that is our house right now. Who would have known one 2 year old, a mom and a nanny could make such a mess of one little house. It is quite shocking actually. We aren't able to help with the big move because I'm not feeling so great these days. Some how I have manage to pull, twist, tare, or rip my sciatic nerve. It's nothing a great dose of pain meds and a MRI aren't going to cure. Daddy did have to come home for an emergency visit to take care of me...LOVE HIM! I think maybe he was ready to come home for good then he he saw the mess and went back to work just one more week!

We had an exciting event....Sammie counted to 10! That's right all the numbers one to ten. I have never been so proud. Of course when I asked her if she would do it again..."no no mama lny nce". (with attitude too) Like hello I'm not a monkey. I promised more pictures so here are a few.....

First things first...

I have welcomed myself and my family to a whole new world! After many months of my dear friends (Kerry and Amy) bugging me to blog I have done it! WOW I got gmail and blog all within two weeks....what will I do next?? No suggestions thank you very much ladies.



Let's see a little about us...we are small little family of three....
Here is Micky and Samantha on one of our many adventures this summer. We had a lot of time to explore the Up in Michigan.






Oh me with Miss Hot stuff. It's funny how when you get married you think you'll have tons of pictures but have you ever noticed you are never in them together? It's gets worse with the kid! Maybe that should be the next project get family photo...at least one. Who am I kidding that's been on the damn to do list for two years.



I should probably add a bunch more pictures but good lord it would take me all night....Don't worry grandparents they will get updated. I just have to figure that trick out. Remember gmail and blog same week I'm sure I can do it...or one of the girls will show me.

Well let's see what else is moving and shaking here in our little family. Micky has been on a special detail all summer. I think we are all happy and sad that it's coming to an end. I'll be glad not to have to drive 400 miles to see my husband. I'll be sad we won't see all our new friends. Sammie is going to miss her Meg (our nanny) though...she called her 6 times this pass weekend. That Hannah Montana phone got a workout. I'm pretty sure Meg got yelled at too...or Sammie was reporting that her parents were putting her on the naughty step. Sammie's latest thing is to tell Mommy "ook I do.." followed by what ever thing she is not suppose to be doing at that exact moment in time. My all time favorite new thing is "mommy uggle" (which means mommy will you snuggle) OMG of course my heart melts every time even when I know she's doing it to try to get out of going to bed.
